Five Tips to Rev Up Your Mobile Job Search

Mobile has become so ingrained in our everyday culture that it’s hard to imagine a time when we didn’t have immediate, on-demand access to just about anything we wanted to know. But, it really wasn’t that long ago that we used to use cell phones just for talking. If you watch movies made even 10 years ago, it becomes quickly apparent the vast changes that have occurred and the influence mobility has had on society.

One area that is picking up steam is the mobile job search, especially with younger generations. With mobile, you have immediate, always-on access to the latest opportunities and can immediately respond to recruiters’ requests. According to the Jobvite 2015 Job Seeker Nation report, nearly half of millennials are using mobile devices during their job search. Heather Huhman, Glassdoor.com, writes that “over the upcoming years, we can expect mobile to influence the way job seekers connect with employers.”

In this slideshow, Huhman has identified five mobile job search tips that will help you improve your job search and find more opportunities for your career.
