A survey of 300 IT managers conducted by Quantum finds that a staggering amount of IT personnel time is wasted restoring files. Just about everybody in IT is aware of the nuisances associated with having to restore a file. But not many people have taken into account that, on average, 131 hours of IT time a year is spent on restoring files. And when you add that all up across all the companies in North America, a big number emerges.
